Catholic Ceremonies

Yes, you can have a Catholic ceremony at your location

You can have a Catholic wedding even if:

Your wedding is in a location other than a church.

One of you is not a Catholic.

One of you, or both, have a previous marriage.

You would like the priest to co-officiate with a rabbi, or another clergy person

You have other special circumstances.

How can we provide this?

+Mike was consecrated as a bishop within a distinct independent Celtic Rite Catholic jurisdiction, which is an independent Catholic and Orthodox communion. We operate separately from the Roman Catholic Church and do not fall under the authority of the Roman Catholic Bishop of Rome. Our church is a unique entity, with roots tracing back to the early Apostolic Catholic churches in the Celtic regions.

To administer the sacraments, a priest must have valid apostolic succession. This concept, which is crucial for the validity of orders and sacraments, is recognized in the Roman Catholic, Orthodox, and Anglican churches. It represents an unbroken line of succession beginning with the apostles and continuing through bishops. Despite our independence, we share many liturgical and spiritual practices with the Roman Church and consider ourselves part of the Catholic (Universal) Church.

+Mike’s apostolic succession is valid and can be traced back to Christ and the apostles through a lineage that includes Anglican, Greek Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, Coptic Orthodox, Old Catholic, Polish Catholic, Celtic Catholic, and Roman Catholic lines.
